Laser Centre Gantry

Our re-worked 3 D laser processing centre was recently accepted by employees of a Chinese research institute with us and will be taken into operation in Beijing in 2012. Several new functions were developed by us, also in co-operation with the IWS (Fraunhofer Institute) and taken into operation with the customer.

 

The laser system has the following technical highlights: Self-developed beam splitter with double welding head (2 welded seams simultaneously) - Powder build-up welding with automatic measuring cycles - Seam-search sensor technology - Protective gas box with integrated NC rotation-swivel axes - Weld function for titanium materials

Compact Cell

The Arnold Compact Cell is the smaller system for laser-welding round components.
Shaft components and rectangular shapes can be welded with certain restrictions.

The compact laser cell can be operated with CO2 lasers and with solid state lasers. Along with laser welding applications, layout variations for additional processes and automation options make it possible to implement many other solutions as well.

A major engine manufacturer contracted Arnold to supply and commission a complex 3D laser system
for powder coating welding of turbine components.

The innovative functions and processes integrated in the system which substantially improved the components
in terms of both quality and quantity output.

Gantry Laser Centre

Our redesigned 3-D Gantry Laser Centre has been developed in cooperation
with the Hannover Laser Centre. The system was recently delivered to the
Kaluga Laser Innovative-Technological Center
in Obninsk, Kaluzhskaya, Russia.
