3D Turbine blade machining centre
A major engine manufacturer contracted Arnold to supply and commission a complex 3D laser system for powder coating welding of turbine components. The innovative functions and processes integrated in the system which substantially improved the components in terms of both quality and quantity output.
Compact cell - Laser welding with external, automated processes
The Arnold Compact Cell is the smaller system for laser-welding round components. Shaft components and rectangular shapes can be welded with certain restrictions. The compact laser cell can be operated with CO2 lasers and with solid state lasers. Along with laser welding applications, layout variations for additional processes and automation options make it possible to implement many other solutions as well.
Special machines - Laser cleaning
The laser cleaning is another method that incorporates the flexibility and the many ways shows the laser tool. In laser cleaning cell by Arnold Ravensburg can rotationally symmetric components cleaned and the same laser and the same optics are labeled.
Laser welding system for transmission components
With our new laser systems for transmission parts, we offer our customers all possibilities to weld gear wheels and synchronizer rings together. Thanks to our newly developed modular building style, we can fulfil nearly all possible customer requirements with simple design adaptations.
Laser processing cell for solid-state lasers
Whether fibre or disc lasers. There is no doubt that solid-state lasers will increase in terms of both market shares and quantities. ARNOLD Ravensburg would like to be a part of this and has developed a laser cell that is available with 3 NC axes in the basic version and has been specially developed for solid-state lasers in the high-power range. The optional extension to 5 axes allows the machining of spatial components.
As an addition to the laser welding process, Arnold Ravensburg has developed a brushing unit for rotation symmetric workpieces. The components are fed in manually or in a fully automated process.
