In addition to its active research activities, KH Arnold Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG also participates as an associated partner in research projects. For example, we supported the IGF project “PolyPro3D” as part of the project's accompanying industry committee. Within this research project, @fraunhofer.ilt, together with @fh.aachen, addressed the challenge of transferring 2D laser polishing to a 3D process integrated into a process chain, thereby making the post-processing of additively manufactured components more economical.
