Laser system double welding cell - modular and flexible
The double station forms our maximum configuration level for laser welding of rotationally symmetric components. 10 NC axes and possible integration of pressing and heating functions leaves all options open. Axial and radial welded seams are possible via automatic, continuous swiveling of the optics. This means that complex setup tasks are no longer required. Using automatic-opening lift gates, the workpieces can be loaded automatically or by hand.
Modular clamping equipment
Automatically adjustable counterpressure bearings for shaft machining also allow longer shaft parts to be welded and can be extended as an option. High and adjustable clamping forces of up to 6 t when joining and welding guarantee a safe welding process. The processing optics assembly travels on a boom to the individual station and can process radial and axial welded seams using the swiveling optical head with no need to change parts.
In the design, we have taken care that the laser cell is compact and can be set up at the customer’s premises in a short time as a “single-block” machine without dismantling, as one single unit.

The processing optics assembly travels on a boom to the individual station and can process radial and axial welded seams using the swiveling optical head with no need to change parts.
Via the arrangement of the swiveling axes for the welding head, both machining stations can be placed close together, thereby allowing a compact machine layout.
Using a free beam arrangement, which means that after fiber coupling the beam is deflected via mirrors (fiber does not move), undesirable movements and interfering contours of the fibers can be avoided
