Systems for domain refinement of grain-oriented electrical steel sheets for the steel industry
Recently, another LDRS system with high-power laser was installed at ARNOLD RAVENSBURG released for production and will be delivered to a well-known steel manufacturer in China in the coming days.
The purpose of such systems is to laser treat grain-oriented (GO) electrical steel, which results in a so-called domain refinement of transformer sheets and ultimately improves the electrical efficiency of power distribution transformers, thus enabling corresponding energy savings. The supplied systems operate fully automatically, 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
ARNOLD RAVENSBURG has already delivered several such systems in collaboration with the Fraunhofer IWS Institute from Dresden and well-known laser manufacturers worldwide.
